Additional Specials Information
LimeRock Inn, Rockland, ME
One of Rockland’s most elegant bed & breakfasts, the inn is an exquisite example of Queen Anne architecture reminiscent of the gracious lifestyle of a bygone era. Tucked away on a quiet side street encircled by a wraparound porch and landscaped gardens, the inn is steps away from a visit to the region's world-class Farnsworth Museum, fine dining, European style shopping, and what Down East magazine referred to as "mid-coast Maine's most beautiful ocean walk."
The expanded Maine Lighthouse Museum and Owls Head Transportation Museum offer a hands-on approach to viewing their exhibits. With more than six active lighthouses located within a short drive and the largest historic schooner fleet in the world, you can experience Maine’s rugged and picturesque coast firsthand by land or by sea. Maybe you’d rather learn the art of lobstering from one of Rockland’s own lobsterman or venture out on the water in a sea kayak. From the mildly to the wildly adventurous, the Maine Discovery Coast is the place for it all.
